History & Mission

The Rothenberg Hillel house was dedicated on October 24, 2014, and is located at 103 West Brooklyn Street in Gambier, Ohio.

The building houses a Kosher kitchen, a chapel, a student lounge, a dining room, and the Chaplain’s office. In addition, we have a separate Town House in the North Campus Apartments that serves as a permanent Hillel living option. It houses our student managers for the year and provides additional programming space.

Our Mission

Kenyon College Hillel serves the Jewish students, faculty, and greater Gambier community by providing religious, cultural, and social opportunities to explore, enhance and celebrate Jewish life.
